Are you overweight? If you lose weight, do you put it right back on again? Have you tried lots of different diets and exercise programs yet you still remain unsatisfied with your weight?
The effects of being overweight
Being overweight means being unhappy or anxious about how you look. There are activties you cannot do or cannot do easily because the extra "padding" is in the way. There may be clothes you hold onto from a thinner time, hoping to one day wear again. Maybe you have to be careful to check that clothes you are buying don't exaggerate your weight.

It all becomes pretty depressing
And then there is the concern it could get worse
As you get older the weight gets even harder to get off. Health problems increase as you continue to lose the energy to do something about it.
And so the fear settles in,
“Will I ever get this weight off, or am I destined to just get heavier?”
“If this gets worse I will feel even more self-concious.”
“Will I be the person others think of as the one who has ‘given up’ and doesn't care anymore?”
Nothing has worked so far.
So you've tried the various diets, crash dieting, diet pills, going to gym and even avoided some of the more drastic or scary "solutions". Maybe you have tried weeks of discipline for little or no noticeable result. And before you know it, you're sliding into old routines and bad habits.
The one consistentcy is: It. Hasn't. Changed. Yet. Right?
